Vocabulary of rationality: 'Woos' and ' Doggerels'

I listen a lot to Hay House Radio, Louise Hay's positive affirmations on life and health have been influencing me to do my own emotional healing and helping me as a motivation for positive thinking and action and find out tools like Nlp and hypnosis. None of these are mystical in the sence we understand how the brain operates and our capacity to introduce and process new information. In this way only I believe Law of Attraction. Louise Hay found this to work for her in the past and she is a gem and sweetheart to me no doubt. But I'm still an intelligent person and don't swallow the amount of 'spiritual' charlatans she has accepted in her radio like Silvia Browne. I'm all forth for messages of goodness, peace, compassion and oneness but not for spiritual opporttunists and alleged psychic powers, bending spoons mambo jambo as they want to make you believe in that radio. Still there is a space left in me to believe we are indeed sources of creativity as the 'spiritualists' say so much, and believe also meditation has concrete benefits in calming and focusing the mind, connecting to the nothingness where we all came from.

I read books by Richard Dawkings, Dr. Sharon Moalem, Darwin, Einstein, Erich Fromm and so on. James Randi has my respect in his life persuit of the truth through evidence and proving phychics are fake. I also read buddhist texts that, though being spiritual in nature, appeal more to the faith in the human capacity for good, compassion and reasoning. So here am I doing some good, appealling for Reason, the true wisdom, and sharing some sites I found on the internet.
Rationality is alive and kicking! :)
